I own a beautiful 3 BR townhouse in the South Loop, across the street from the redline subway and Chinatown in a safe, gated complex. It is a unique and lovely space in a lofty, open layout, with a 30 ft atrium ceiling that lets in tons of light! Comfortably furnished, with a fully-stocked kitchen.

I have lived here for 20+ years and still do. I rent out my other two bedrooms (one quite large, and one smaller, but very sunny and cozy!) and tend to rent to students, who become my roommates! 

The house is in a great convenient location, 10 mins from downtown, with access to all expressways, Lake Shore Drive (and easy street parking if you have a car), and there is lots of shopping, a major grocery store a few blocks away (Mariano's.) Also on several bus routes. 

Good for students and professionals as well! I am open to male and/or female, as long as we all get along. It is important to me to have a harmonious home, with everyone understanding what it is like to live in a cooperative house (help with upkeep, be considerate, know how to communicate!)

I currently have both bedrooms filled, and one is rented for Sept. 1, but my smaller bedroom is still available for either Sept. 1 or slightly earlier in August.

(As an aside, I do own my previous home, an awesome 1750 sq ft loft in River North, which is also available for rent Sept. 1! Please inquire if you're interested in that. Long term lease only.)
